After a number of days of questionable weather including this hail, yesterday was cool but with just a 20% chance of rain, so we decided to try golfing at the very interesting course right down the road.

This was the Pueblo de Cochiti Golf Course and both the setting and the building were beautiful.

The course was in good shape…

and it was a fun place to play.

I enjoyed their signs.

Well, most of them.

We didn’t see any rattlesnakes but I did manage to see quite a few sand traps more closely than I liked.

Neither of us had a good score, but we did have a good time.

And it turned out to be a beautiful day.
Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the area. Very unique signs!
Continued safe travels, Love you, Judy

How nice to enjoy a game of golf in an unexpected place with cool signs! Glad to hear about your location and looking forward to the next. We are back from our trip to Austin and beyond and had a great time with family gathering in Austin for a week and our own travel coming and going. Excellent weather except for a bit of hail the last day in Missouri trying to escape a bad storm from the south. I think one trip highlight was delving into LBJ history with visits to his presidential library/museum in Austin, then visiting his boyhood homes and ranch in the hill country west of Austin. (Remember we were in Mr Pixley’s 7th grade class when he sudddenly became president. Hill country was a lovely area, got to see bluebonnets blooming and enjoy an early spring. Got as far south as San Antonio which we enjoyed very much. Home and settled in for spring in Wisconsin. Saw beautiful redbuds and blooming daffodils all the way home, so are assured spring is coming!
